We travelled to Coldharbour Mill to see the workings of the mill and linked with how it would have operated in the Victorian era.

The day started with us learning about the process of wool and the strength the material has. Moving through this process we then used examples of the materials to weave our own brackets/bookmarks.

During the second half of the day, we were able to explore the Mill using a self-guided tour. During this tour we were able to learn about the history, haunted stories and work children would take part in.

All the children were able to recall facts and ask further questions about what they had learnt and even enjoyed dressing up as a Victorian.
